N. S. Hastings. Cleveland, Ohio. Apr. 27 '08. JUPITER BROTHERS (2) F.S. Garden. Time 16. The entire act is cleverly done with a cabinet elevated from the stage. It is the old Spiritualistic mysterious appearance of hands to produce flower etc. A Hit. LOUIS and GREEN. 2 men. Time 18. Open in 1, change to 3, close in 1. One opens with songs. His partner in audience interrupts him. They get talking back and forth and finally they both complete a little knockabout singing and dancing skit on the stage. They have one great comedy drop in 3 that gets a big and prolonged laugh while the men are off stage. OLIVATTI TROUBADOURS. 2 men. In 1. Time, 14. Violin and guitar with extra base strings. Strictly high class. One of the most artistic musical hits of the year. Four real encores. PARADISE ALLEY F.S., special set and back drop. Time 25. Eleven people, 6 girls, 5 men. A pretty singing and dancing comedy with a great farce plot. The girls are all pretty, and the men good comedians. The act went big although, to my mind, the act would be much improved if it were not quite so noisey. MRS DAN McAVOY (Georgia Kelly.) In 1. Time 9. Sings. She received considerable applause, although several of her verses were decidedly off color, and listened like burlesque. Her verse about "Three Weeks" is raw. VALERIE BERGERE & CO. Miss Bergere, 2 other women, 1 man. In 4. Time 30. The greatest actress in vaudeville in a vigorous sketch, "A Bowery Camille." Her work is wonderful and her support capable. The audience gave her a rousing reception. MILT WOOD In 1. time 9. Sings well, but features his dancing. Mr. Wood is one of the greatest dancers ever seen here, and gets a big hand at every new step. His dancing is real entertainment. CURZON SISTERS. F.S. Garden. Time, 7. The girls fly through the air, suspended to wires by their teeth. The butterfly effect took the house by storm, and several of their other feats are wonderful. The kind of a closing act that glues the people to their seats. THE KINETOGRAPH. 70.
