PULLMAN PORTER MAIDS. 24 min. In one and a half. On at 4.21 Scene exterior of railroad station. Eight little girls working black face, in natty costumes. Sing and dance quite well. Act is a hit here owing to McMahon's local reputation. His humor is great and was delivered in an original manner, getting a constant laughter. The close is full stage with a good railroad drop. Closed well with three curtain calls. FIELDS & WARD. 18 min. In one. On at 3.13 One works straight the other eccentric. A log of gingerly nonsense. Kept the crowd in good humor. The fun is a little rough in spots, but it gets the laugh. Closed well, with two curtain calls. CURZON SISTERS. Full stage On at 3.32 This is a positive sensation and no mistake. The girls make a fine appearance and their work is thrilling and beautiful. Rousing applause after each feat. An act to be talked about and remembered. RICE BROTHERS. Full stage. On at 5.10 One works straight and the other Rube. Acrobatic work with some comedy of the knock-about order. Makes good in an obscure spot. INA CLAIRE. In one. On at 1.33 Pretty girl with three fetching changes of costume. Her imitations took very well, and she will get a better spot for the balance of the week. GERALDINE MCCANN CO. Full stage. On at 5.33 Father and two children. Boy and girl dance well indeed, but there is little in the act aside from their dancing comedy is very shy and the work of the father does not add to the act. Small applause. KINETOGRAPH. THE BRIARCLIFF MOTOR RACE. held over for a second week. A strong and timely film. THE FRESH AIR FIEND. A very amusing film worth placing anywhere. IN MOROCCO. An excelent travel series. JIM GOT A NEW JOB. A very fair comedy series. GENERAL REMARKS. As the North American said this morning, "For some reason best know to himself, B. F. Keith is putting on a series of bills that are superior to those he presented when he had opposition." This comes pretty nearly telling the story. There was not a single fall-down, and several surprises. Among them may be mentioned HILL & WHITAKER, MCMAHON & CHAPPELLE, and FIELDS & WARD. HILLIARD has perfected his act so that it runs with wonderful artistic precision and leaves a strong impression. The Curzon Sisters simply defy all competitors in their line and all together the bill stands strong in novelty, comedy, and class. The revised bill is as follows:- Keith's Orchestra Ina Claire Ferreros & Dog Murphy & Francis Emil Hoch & Co. Rosie Lloyd Horace Goldin Fields & Ward Curzon Sisters Hill & Whitaker Robert Hilliard McMahon & Chappelle Kinetograph Rice Brothers- Billy Cullen Geraldine McCann Co.
