78 TEMPLE THEATRE WEEK May 25th, 1908 Ferrell Bros., Comedy cyclists. A good little comedy act to open the show. 10 min. full stage. Sam Williams. Pianologue. Fair act for this position on the bill. Could not recommend it to further down. 13 min in one. Vernon. Ventriloquist. Presenting the same old act but he seems to please as well as ever. 15 min in 3 Close in one 3 min. Six Musical Nosses. "In Old Seville" Carry their own special act. Very well costumed. Is going very well here this week. 14 min, in 3, and 3 min. in one. Mlle. Zelie de Lussan. Makes a very good appearance. She is in very good voice, and she has the right idea of selecting her songs for vaudeville. I am satisfied that she would be a good drawing card here in the regular season, as she leaves the stage to good applause at each show. 12 min. in three. Wynn and Lewis. College Bosy. presenting the same material as they did on their last appearance. The act went just as strong as it did before. 18 min. in one. Al Leech and the 3 Rosebuds. presenting their old act "Examination Day at School". While I am obliged to admit that this act is the comedy hit of the bill, I have a continuous battle with him to keep it clean. 21 min. in three. 3 min. finish in one. Hal Davis & Company. presenting "A Race for a wife", I fail to note any improvement in the acting of Mr Davis, but the caste is well balanced. The sketch is a rather poor one, and the automobile finish is a farce. 18 min. full stage. Kinetograph. Finishing Scenes in Sweden, and "The Diabolical Pickpocket" a very good comedy picture.
