(2) Williams and [Walker?] Glee Club. On at 3.45, 17 min full stage, 3 min close in 1. Second and final week. Repeated the success they made last week. This organization has proved a very good offering indeed. XX1 Bert Leslie and Company. On at 4.05, 17 min, full stage. Playing for the first time here "Hogan In Society". The sketch proved fully as acceptable as his former vehicle; in fact, I think it will be even better-liked in this house. We are very sorry to know that Leslie probably will not be in vaudeville next season, for he is one of the headliners we can ill afford to lose. XX1 Kinetograph. On at 4.22, 28 min. "The Diabolical Pickpocket"; excellent comic. "Sweden"; very interesting travel film. "Engaged Against His Will"; fair comic. Zara and Stetson. On at 4.50, 9 min, full stage. Special set, black cyclorama. 3 shows. Man and woman in a baton and torch juggling act. Their costumes are very neat and attractive, and the woman, who is rather pretty, makes a very pleasing stage appearance. O.K. as an opening act almost anywhere. XX Lorenz and Young. On at 4.39, 15 min, in 1. John Lorenz is an extremely clever eccentric dancer and ragtime pianist, while his new partner is a really great hard-shoe dancer. This is only their second or third week together, and the act gives promise of making thoroughly good for $100-125. XX Nonrevo. On at 5.14, 15 min, full stage. This is Vernon, the well-known ventriloquist, who is here putting his new act in working order. He is to try it out next week, giving two performances daily between 5 and 7. If it proves O.K. he will play it the following week in the regular show. Cuts: Byers and Hermann. Mock prayer. Snyder and Buckley. Given a little advice on English as it should be spoken. Comment. A very good show, indeed, for this season of the year.
