rescued, etc. Interest sustained throughout and closed well. R. C. HERZ. Monologuist. 20 min. in one. Character work of a high order. The lawyer, old actor and the rest are gems of subtle humor. Good applause after each selection and closed well. Ought to pull a good stroke with our evening crowds this week. MONTROSE TROUPE. Acrobats. 8 mts. Full Stage. Six men and little boy. A regulation acrobatic order, all of it expert and well received. Ideal closing feature for any house. KINETOGRAPH. I. THE MAGNETIC REMOVAL. Very amusing series of pictures of the freak order. II. JAPANESE BUTTERFLY. Typical grotesque French series with a good finish. III. SWEDISH DANCES. Interesting travel film. Kinetograph pictures right up to the standard this week TANNER AND GILBERT. Rural Comedy Sketch. Man and woman. 17 mts. Full Stage. Rube act, including some good songs and some fairly amusing rhymes. Good for any spot in the three-a-day section. Closed very well for a supper show act. DAN MEALY. 10 mts. in one. Italian character work in the costuming and make-up of a laborer. Includes some songs and a pathetic story and some dancing which went well. Could hold a good spot in the three-a-day section. GENERAL REMARKS. This is a good show throughout. It will be particularly strong with the evening crowd after "Wireless" runs a little smoother and "Harcourt" goes after them a little stronger.
