-2- Quinlan and Mack. On at 8.33, 21 minutes in one, special drop. Their usual great laughing hit with "The Traveling Dentist." I consider Mack one of the funniest of all stage coons, while Quinlan makes an excellent foil for him. "The Love Waltz". On at 8.54, 38 minutes, full stage, special set. In many respects the most beautifully mounted act vaudeville has ever known. It is certainly a stunner. Made a very strong impression at both performances. Should be particularly good for us as "The Merry Widow" opened here a couple of weeks ago. A word is due to the music of this operatta, four of the numbers being very catchy. If they were in a Broadway musical comedy they would be whistled and sung the country over. XX1 Nat M. Wills. On at 9.30, 28 minutes in one. Wills came very near doing about every thing he knew to-day, the rubes being out in full force and taking to him like burrs to the tail of a cut-a-way coat. He certainly gets away with stuff as no one else can. Has considerable new matter, although his gossip about his fat girl is still his piece de resistance. XX1 Les Silvas. On at 9.58, 12 minutes, full stage. "The Portugese Firemen" do a most extraordinary and sensational act, one that I would place in the heart of the bill, rather than in the closing spot, if it were possible. XX1 Kinetograph. "The Dieppe Circuit Races of 1908." This is a great picture of its kind. I do not consider it as good as last year's. "All for a Bird." An interesting comic. Comment. A very good show indeed, with some highly novel features.
