GRAND OPERA HOUSE, PITTSBURG, PA., SEPT 7th, 08. THE LUCADOS-Strong man and equilibrist. 10 minutes, garden. 3 shows. Does very well for the three a day section. OSCAR LORAINE-Violinist. 18 minutes, olio. 3 shows. This man is very clever-good enough for the two a day section. I have him on at 2:00 and 8:00 o'clock and he is going very well. DAN [MALLOY?]- 12 minutes, olio. Character comedian. 3 shows. Just gets away. RYAN & WHITE-10 minutes, olio, Dancing. 3 shows. While this is not a great act, it is far above any dancing act doing three shows. They do very well at [3:15?]. BARTHOLDI'S BIRDS. Wood- 15 minutes. A very good act. HYAMS & MCINTYRE in "Two Hundred Wives". 24 minutes, kitchen It is almost time for these folks to get a new act. LONGACRE QUARTETTE. 18 minutes, olio. An exceptionally good quartette. These men look well, have selected the proper songs, and have great voices A big hit with our audience. LEW BLOOM. 15 minutes, street in one. Going very well. "THE VAN DYCK"-Sketch with three men. Interior, 17 minutes. There is very little to this sketch and were it not for the fact that Mr. Hunter is an excellent actor the whole thing would be a very sad affair. The finish could be made much stronger under proper stage directions. STELLA MAYHEW & BILLEE TAYLOR. 17 minutes in one. Miss Mayhew is going only fair with us this time. Mr. Taylor leads the orchestra and sings one song while Miss Mayhew makes a change. I am sure she would do much better without the assistance of Mr. Taylor in the orchestra. ONAIP- 15 minutes, special drop. This act has caused considerable talk and no doubt has drawn us some money. It is a clever mechanical trick but does not work as smoothly as it should. John P. Harris.
