148 Cleveland, O. Sept. 21., 1908. Ned S. Hastings. HERR SAONA- Time 12. C. D. F. in 3. Costume impersonations of international celebrities. All artistic and accurate. Applause after each impersonation. Big hand at close. Max Witt's SINGING COLEENS. In one. Time 11. Four good looking Young Women who sing unusually well, making a fine quartette. Are attractively dressed in green. Use Irish songs only. Their material conflited on this bill with Juluis Steger and Edith Helena. MAJESTIC MUSICAL FOUR- Four men. Three in military costumes, straight; one comedy. Time 22. Open C. D. F. close in one. Comedy very tame. Instrumental work very fine with xylophone quartette the feature. Big hand at close. MADAM BARTHOLDY'S BIRDS- In Four. Time 12. Man and woman, oriental costumes with about [10?] Cockatoos. Tricts rather old and uninteresting. To say that the act is fair is big praise. JAMES H. CULLEN- Monologue. In one. Time 16. Goes very well. Some of his material old as the pyramids but gets by some how. Most of his work, however, is bright and up-to-date. MR. JULIUS STEGER & CO., Three men and young woman. Time 23. Interior in four. Presenting "The Fifth Commandment" for the third time here. The act seems to have been improved and scored a big hit. Mr. Steger received a big advanced hand. EDITH HELENA. In one. Time 12. Beautiful voice. Held over for second week. See last week's criticism. A big hit here. THE GREAT JOSETTIS- Palace in four. Time 12. Two men, two midgets, one boy, one woman. Good comedy. Risley work fast, unique and riveting the people in their seat. THE KINETOGRAPH.
