174 CHASE'S WASHINGTON Week Oct, 12th,1908 MYERS and ROSA Man and woman Lariat throwers who open the bill acceptably. Full stage. CHAS.and FANNIE [VAN?] "A Case of Emergency". Novel and full of good comedy to the extent that it may be classed as a hit. In one. WORK and [OWEN?] Repeated fully their former great success. In one. BOTHWELL BROWNE and Co. "Winning A [Gibsen?] Widow". The novelty of this act carries it to success and places, where it is, following two strong comedies makes it a desirable offering. Full stage. INTERMISSION SIGNOR EL [COTO?] Very good xylophonist and any house can play him but the position here may be a little too hard for him. In one. EZRA KENDALL [Prev?] reviews received we were very much worried about Kendall but he made thoroughly good, holding the stage for 25 mins. with all new material excepting about 2 mins., and our only criticism is that he is paid too much money. In one. THE [ANGELUS?] A very pretty production but really do not believe they are as strong here in it as in the old Village Choir act so we are paying more money for a less attractive offering. Full stage. THE AMERICAN VITAGRAPH "The Varsity Race. Good.
