CLEVELAND, O. NED S. HASTINGS. Oct. 19, 1908. YOUMA Open C.D.F., close in 1. Time, 16. American juggler assisted by woman, both in Oriental costume. Material all new and scientifically interesting. Frequent applause. Would go well most any place farther up the bill. Too good for opener. MISS JEANETTE ADLER AND PICKANINNIES. Open in 1, change to C.D.F., close in 1. Time 15. Miss Adler has a fairly good voice and one of the 4 "Picks" is a good dancer. The whole act however is rather "amateurish", far too noisey, and brings very mild applause. LOWELL B. DREW. In 1. Time 15. Character singing comedian. His "Dutchman" is fair; his "farmer" very good; his "Honey Boy" Evans, good. Pleasing personality. Went well. THE PATRIOT. Greatest ever. See last week's report. Drawing big. The talk of the town. FROSINI In 1. Time 11. Frosini plays a "concert grand" accordeon and proves a "riot." His material is all high class, for instance he gives a beautiful rendition of Mendlesohn's "Spring Song," among his selections. His work is finished and novel. One of the hits of the show. CHARLES E. EVANS & CO. C.D.F. 2 men, 3 women. Time 29. Playing, "It's Up To You, William." Although the act is very familiar to local audiences, the people laughed continually this afternoon and gave the work of the actors a big hand. The plot is very funny and the parts well handled. MISS LILY LENA. In 1. Time, 19. English singing comedienne. Neat, attractive, and carries a stunning wardrobe for quick changes. She sings four or five very catchy songs, typically English, and "gets" the audience right away. The act seems to please men and women equally. THE BELLONG BROTHERS. 2 men. F.S. Woods. Time, 17. A good closing act,-cycling balancing and a little "strong man" material. The "finish" of a somersault on a bicycle made a quick hit. THE KINETOGRAPH "The Base Ball Fan"- great film, very funny.
