REPORT ON PROVIDENCE SHOW, WEEK OF NOVEMBER 16, 1908. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. A very satisfactory bill, other than the first two acts, altho decidedly hard to handle, but after ironing out I am sure it has the material of the sort that draws. Byrd & Vance Man and woman, comedy sketch, just got away with this spot and no more. 15 Min. F. S. close in one, 3 shows. O'Donnell Bros. I would reckon this a good three a day act if it was not such an awful steal from Callahan & Mack. They play the same characters in the same way, even to the business with the matches. It is the most barefaced piece of robbery that I ever saw. 17 Min. in Two, 3 shos Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Forbes In "A Wild Rose. A very good dramatic comedy sketch, decidedly superior to their position on the bill. 23 Min. F. S. 2 shows. Mattie Lockette Juvenile impersonator. At the salary, Miss Lockette is exceptionally good value. 13 Min. in One, 2 shows. Rafayette's Dogs An excellent offering, that pleased decidedly. 15 Min. F. S. 2 shows. Toozoonin Arabs Well-known acrobatic act which made its usual hit. 8 Min. F. S. 2 shows. Morrissey & Ayer Two clever young fellows, piano playing, singing and talking. Act presented in a rather novel style and they scored very well. I hardly think they are strong enough for this position, but they could hold number two anywhere and four or five in the smaller houses. 18 Min. in One, 3 shows. Annette Kellermann Diabolo and Dancing, covered by Boston reports. 5 Min. F. S. 2 shows. Pearl & Yosco Italian harp playing, singing and cello playing. A real hit. Valuable act anywhere. 18 Min. in one, 2 shows. Ed F. Reynard Mr. Reynard comes this season with a brand new production and almost entirely new material, for which he receives the thanks of the audience and myself. A splendid example for other performers. An excellent act. 18 Min. F. S. 2 shows. Nat M. Wills Without question the best monologue act we ever had in the house. With the show twenty minutes late, he held the audience for twenty-eight minutes and they wanted more. Annette Kellermann Diving. A very sensational feature which no doubt will draw money. Miss Kellermann is a beautiful woman, in face and figure and is an expert diver. 5 Min. F. S. Motion Pictures O. K.
