GRAND OPERA HOUSE, PITTSBURG, PA., DEC. 14th, 08. PEALSON-GOLDIE & LEE- 16 min., street in one. 3 shows. Singing, dancing and imitations. This is far above the three a day acts. We have them on at 2:15 and they are going very well. SCOTT & WILSON-Olio in one- 12 minutes. Comedy talking and acrobatic act. Going big for us. I think this act is good enough for any place on the bill. DAN BURKE & GIRLS-17 minutes, full stage, special. Mr. Burke is going fully as well with us on this visit as he ever did. This is one of the few acts that you can repeat once a season, with success. CHAS. KENNA-Monologue. Street, 18 minutes. Going very well. At $100 less he would be a very good act. W. C. FIELDS-15 minutes. "The Eccentric Juggler". Same big hit he has always been with us. DAGWELL SISTERS- 12 minutes, olio. The Dagwells are now working in one. They opened Monday in full stage, closing in one. There was no reason for them using the full stage and I convinced them that their place was in one. The act is beautifully costumed and a little different from any of the other sister acts we have played. They are going very well. CARLYLE MOORE & CO- "The Man's the Thing". 22 min. Interior-full stage. A good sketch played fairly well. LADDIE CLIFF- 18 minutes, olio. Going very big. I made him the headliner this week and have him next to closing. CE DORA- 7 minutes, full stage. Garden. An act similar to "The Globe of Death" but a far better act. They are closing the show and getting immense applause at every show. This is undoubtedly the most sensational and daring act we have ever had in vaudeville. It causes considerable talk and I would not hesitate to advise any one playing it to make it the headliner. John P. Harris.
