Report of Colonial Theatre, Week of Dec. 14th, 1908. Hill, Cherry & Hill:- Comedy cycle act. Garden in three. Owing to the fact that Union Hill refused to change show Sunday night and place these boys early, I only got a small part of their act late this afternoon. Bonnie Gaylord:- songs and monologue. Fancy in one. 9 Min. An excellent act. Charles B. Lawlor & Daughters:- own drop in three. Close in one. vocal character sketch. 23 min. and a solid hit. Walter Lewis & Co:- in "A Baby Grand," C D in three. 15 min. This sketch should be booked solid. Carbrey Brothers:- dancers. Fancy in one. Great. 8 min. Barry & Wolford:- Street in one. Went big. 16 min. Duffin- Redcay Troupe:- Palace in three. 10 min. The act will be a great drawing card. NOTE:- Allie Gilbert was booked for this show. As Miss Gilbert said she could not make good without picking out patrons to address songs to, she closed after rehearsal. Miss Gaylord who was in town with her husband, Cameron, of Cameron & Flanagan, replaced her Sometimes, I'm lucky. Colonial Theatre, Lawrence, Mass., Dec. 14th, 1908. J. Fred Lees, Mgr. and Critic.
