Report on Columbus Show week Nov. 30th. -- 08 W. W. Prosser. THE WOOD BROS. Irish Ring Artists: Two young men who make an unusually good appearance and whose routine of work won at every point. All of their tricks are tastefully accomplished and at no time do they "stall". -- A favorable item in connection with them is that they possess a modest bearing that makes them likable. -- At the finish they took four or five bows, an unusual thing for an opener or in fact most any other spot here. 8 minutes Palace in 4. PATSY DOYLE: Well known monologuist whose unique method of delivery was most acceptable. -- He was a bit of no uncertain calibre and at the finish won several recalls. As good here as many we have paid a lot of money. 14 minutes in one. MME. Bartholdi's Cockatoos: The act is O. K. to the eye but that is about all. -- Quite a number of birds but none of them do anything to speak of. -- Then hang on to each trick too long, evidently waiting for tumultuous applause which unfortunately the denizens of this district are not inclined to be separated from. The act got by but that was all. 11 minutes Garden in 4. THE MCNAUGHTONS: Well known English Comedians who got along fine and who won many a laugh. -- Quite different from anything we have had here and as a consequence it took the house some little time to get on to their curves. -- Finished very well. 18 minutes open in one finish landscape in 2. BENJAMIN CHAPIN & CO: in "At The White House." -- This act is one peculiarly in a class by itself. -- The work of Chapin is all that could be desired and his supporting cast acceptable. Attention was held from first to last and there were some few demonstrations of approval during the enactment of the piece. -- The evidences of favor were strong at the finish. -- I figure that this act will create more comment outside than demonstration in the house. 32 minutes Library interior. JACK WILSON TRIO: Two men and woman in a singing, dancing, and comedy act that made a very favorable impression and finished excellently. The only fault to me is that in spots the comedian is inclined to tread on the toes of propriety to some extent. -- 20 minutes olio in one. THE FOUR DUNBARS: Well known casting act that met every requirement. 10 minutes terrace in 4. Pictures O. K.
