THE JOSETTIS. 12 min. F.S Two men, a woman and three little boys. Admirably dressed, and one of the swiftest-moving and most expert acrobatic and risley acts ever seen in vaudeville. Applause from start to finish, with a great closing hand. Could hold any spot on any bill with credit. WYNNE & LEWIS. 13 min. in one. Whereas the original Wynne in this act was missed by a great many of his home friends, nevertheless, the new Wynne did quite as well with his partner, and kept the audience in good humor through the 13 min. of their act. The material is practically the same as presented here before, with some few additions. Held down the spot very well indeed. JOE HART'S "BATHING GIRLS." 23 min. open in 1, close 1 1/2. Three scenes in one, and three Full Stage. This is one of the most ambitious things that Joe Hart has attempted, and aside from the fact that the comedy is a little shy, (notably in the scene of the Hotel Astor kitchen), nevertheless, the act as a whole pleased the jury. The eight girls are all pretty and sang well; and, of course, the costuming is superb. The lyrics are characteristic of Hart's work, and catchy. The finish with the moving picture effect in the surf brings the act to a good finish, which it would not otherwise enjoy. This act will neither add not detract from Hart's reputation, but as a closing feature with us, makes good all right, but to be still better, it has got to run smoother with repeated performances. KINETOGRAPH. Basket Party. A good comedy film. Bear Hunting. Very interesting travel series. Parisian Life in Miniature. This is a good Holiday film for the children. LESLIE THURSTON. Xylophonist. 9 min. in one. A young girl making a good appearance and playing a fancy xylophone. A good little three-day act and showing good showmanship. VALVENO & LA MORE. Comedy Acros. 11 min. F.S. A good three-a-dat knockabout act, as such acts go, all founded on the Rice & Provost idea, using table, chair and tumbling mat. One man works straight and the other comedy. A fair closing hand. GENERAL REMARKS. This is certainly some show and the audience appreciated it. There was not a weak spot on the bill, and the surprise hits on the program were Bert Levy and the Long Acre Quartette, both of whom the audience would not let go. CUTS. WYNNE & LEWIS:- Reference to "Nearly a month"; the expression, "Nellie, the sweing machine girl without a stitch"; the story of the crying kid and the woman's waist buttoned up the back; the expression, "Talks like h---," and the business of spitting in theeye; also to "taking physics only when it is necessary. ARTHUR BORANI:- The Mock Prayer. [...LVENO] & LA MORE: - The Mock prayer. GREENWAY: - Reference to "Peruna." ...RRISSEY & AYER:- Expression, "Who the h--- would want to be a camel?"
