Report on Columbus Show week Dec. 7th. -- 08. W. W. Prosser. SAMSONE & DELILA: Man and woman in an athletic and equilibristic act in which there are a number of tricks introduced that are not usually seen. -- They all took well and the swiftness with which the work is accomplished adds quite a bit to the value of the offering. -- They really scored substantially and at the finish were given sever[al] good rounds of applause. Perfectly satisfactory. 6 minutes palace in 4. J/ Francis Cooley & Sayles: Man and woman in sidewalk singing, comedy and talking act. --The getaway was only fair but the perseverance and good nature of the man won them over and before they were more than half through they had the house with them. Must give them credit for turning defeat into a genius victory. Finish strong. 20 minutes olio in one. Hughes Musical Trio: Two men and a woman in a straight musical act. D. F. close in one. Ward & Curran: "The Terrible Judge" -- This well known act aroused great hilarity throughout and must be voted a success of the distinct order. Not a fault to be found. 29 minutes C. D. Oak. Quinlan & Mack: "The Traveling Dentist." -- They got away with the place allotted satisfactorily but it was a hard game for them following the two preceding acts. While they were in no way lacking I believe we have had them too often of late and would like to skip them for a while. 21 minutes in one. Miszkoff:Sanders CO: Russian Whirlwind Dancers. Three women two men. They have a routine of material that won generally. Their finish was to some extent marred but I could not determine the cause from the front. -- I believe they
