CHASE'S WASHINGTON. Week Feb. [16th?], 1909 [MORRISSEY?] and AYER Two young men in a singing and piano playing act which make a very good opening number. In one. ARTHUR HOUSTON "Stanley in Africa". A splendid novelty act, considerable, comedy, beautiful scenery and a bargain at the salary. Full stage. THE DOHERTY SISTERS Two nice looking young women, prettily gowned, who made good in their singing and dancing. In one. "THE PATRIOT" Miss Helena Frederick as the prima donna carried off the honors this afternoon and act received several curtain calls. Full stage. INTERMISSION THE BOUNDING GORDONS Three men. Great. Full stage. ALF GRANT Mr. Grant gave us an entirely new act today and made his usual hit. In one. JEFFERSON DE ANGELIS and Co. "The Rehearsal". Mr. De Angelis was accorded a warm reception and his act evidently pleased but he is by far too clever an artist to be lost in this poor vehicle. Full stage. THE AMERICAN VITAGRAPH "The U. S. FLEET in AUSTRALIA". Good. H. Winnifred De Witt, Manager.
