Boston Show, Week of Sept. 13, 1909. R. G. Larsen (Monday Sept. 13th--Afternoon Show.) Overture. 1.45, 5 minutes. Wentworth, Vesta & Teddy. On at 1.50, 10 minutes full stage. Good opening act, two clowns and a dog and plenty of comedy. The Temple Quartette. On at 4.06, 17 minutes in one. Peter got such a demonstration at the finish that it seemed that the show had come to an end, but these young fellows picked it up and finished very big. Simon & Gardner. On at 4.32, 31 minutes full stage. A scream as usual, even at this late hour, but we are cutting it down to 25 minutes to-night. Kinetograph. On at 4.32, 7 minutes. "The Land of the Midnight Sun."--Timely and interesting. Cats. Simon & Gardner--Grandmother has nothing on her. The servants' decollette on the floor. Comment. A very good show and with changes should whip into fine shape to-night. Will open with Newhoff and Phelps, Swat Milligan following then Wentworth & Vesta. The rest of the bill is as before. Injunction proceedings were threatened to-day against the Temple Quartette by a quartette of the same name that has been using the title for about 23 years. Expect more developments tonight. Notice has been served and we will discontinue use of name in Boston.
