REPORT OF COLONIAL THEATRE, LAWRENCE, WEEK OF SEPT. 27th. Polk & Polk - acrobats. Palace in 3. 8 minutes. Went good. Marron & Heins - two men minstrels. Fancy in one. 23 minutes. Went very big. Old stuff but went great. Murphy & Willard - C. D. in 1. 18 minutes. $125. ought to be enough. James Brockman - pianologue _ Fancy in 2. 17 minutes. Went big. Tom Barry & Co., "Nick Carter." Open and close in 1. An excellent act. Carbrey Bros. dancers. Street in 1. 9 minutes. Great dancers. Beatrice Ingram & Co., "The Duchess." C. D. in 3. 22 minutes. One of the best sketches I ever saw. Pictures. Colonial Theatre, Lawrence, Mass. J. Fred Lees, Critic. MARYLAND THEATRE REPORT Baltimore Week of October 4th. 1909 F.C. Schanberger. ZINKA PANNA = 14 minutes in 1 - A very neat little act, the feature of which is the dancing dogs. Going well. FREY TWINS = 11 minutes, full stage- This act is scoring heavily, Constant applause throughout and closing with five bows. Good value. KEEFE & PEARL = 11 minutes in 1 - Well known specialty, Going very well here. MR. & MRS. FISHER = 21 minutes, full stage- "The Half Way House". A good rural sketch that contains many real laughs. Makes good here. BOWERS. WATERS & CROCKER = 13 minutes, full stage, close three minutes in 1. This act was one great big scream. BERT LESLIE & CO.= 17 Minutes, full stage. Another big laughing hit. Going fine. CARRIE DE MAR = 20 minutes in 1. Miss De Mar made many friends on her last visit here, which she more than doubled here this afternoon. She is a big artistic hit. ARTHUR HUSTON = 11 Minutes, full stage. Going fairly well in this hard spot. KINETOGRAPH = Fulton-Hudson Celebrations. All right pictures.
