BIJOU THEATRE PAWTUCKET R. I. Week commencing Monday Oct. 11th 1909 CROWN DUO Musical act, two men. No comedy except that one man wears a comedy costume. Good variety of instruments and well played. Good act for any bill. Went well, 14 minutes full stage close in one GERTRUDE LAMONT Singing and whistling, this lady took the place of an act that was taken sick and her trunk failed to reach here in time, she went on in street cloths. Singing was not good but she made good with her whistling, done 5 minutes in one. At the evening performance she done much better, opening up with a whistling solo and then a song followed by a clog dance done 8 minutes in one. Went fairly well but a little below the standard CURTISS & CONNELLY Man and woman. Singing, talking and impersonations one of those crazy sketches that there is no sense too. Man has some good comedy songs and his impersonation of an Italian got plenty of laughs, woman makes several changes does some good eccentric work and an impersonation of Eva Tanguay went well. 15 minutes C.D.F. went off with a good hand HARRY THORNTON Pianologuist with a style all his own. Classical numbers and also some comedy numbers. Imitations well well so did his songs. It is a good act does 13 minutes in one. Went well THE THREE HANLONS Three men, comedy acrobats, the hand balancing of two of the men is immense and got rounds of applause, the comedy had the people screaming. Good act for any bill 14 minutes full stage
