FABLES & TOPICS. Former only fair, Latter very good
LA PETIT CABARET. 12 min. A very good manikin act and did very well as an opener. A lot of their opening stuff is new and funny.
PAUL NOLAN & CO. 12 min. Juggler of the W. C. Fields type with a good routine of tricks, well handled. Uses a girl as assistant. Well received.
JAY DILLON & BETTY PARKER. 23 min. About the same act used earlier in the season. Pretty staging and pianist an asset. A classy turn with catchy songs, a bit of dancing and snappy chatter. All well done and made a very good impression.
CAITS BROS. 12 min. The stepping of these two boys carry them through as a very good applause winner. Use some comedy talk for an opening, getting some laughs. Finished very strong with their dancing.
CHARLES KING & LILA RHODES. in "Toot Your Horn"  This new vehicle gives this couple chance for a novel opening with talk after which they go into their songs and dances, having a man at the piano as assistant. Classy looking turn with smart talk and the songs and dances are nicely done. Act seems a little too long and cutting might give it the needed speed.
JACK BENNY. 14 min. Moved up from next to closing after the first show and put over a good sized laughing hit in this spot. His talk gets laughs and he makes good use of the little violin playing he does.
MARION MORGAN DANCERS. 26 min. Unquestionably a beautiful production and the dancing is up to the usual Morgan grade. To those who enjoy the classical offering this act is sure to appeal, but its appeal is only to the better class of patrons and with this clientele it scored. It is long and this dragged the show.
WYLIE & HARTMAN. 16 min. Moving this act down after the big dancing act helped the show considerably, giving a low comedy laughing number in here and they did very well at the night show. Act remains the same as last season.
THREE DANOISE SISTERS. 6 min. A pretty ring act by three girls. Routine of tricks well done and the girls make a nice appearance. Made a good closing number for this bill.
PATHE NEWS. Below the average, carrying very little to interest the average audience and nothing to stand out strong. Mildly received.
GENERAL REMARKS. A heavy show that dragged at the opening matinee but picked up speed with a change in the running order for the night. It ought to improve toward the end of the week when running smoothly.
