REPORT OF BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET. R. I., Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, February 25, 26 and 27. GLENDOWER & MANION--- In a Comedy Sketch entitled "Christmas on the Comstock"--Man and woman--very clever sketch; 14 min. full stage; went good. SAM J. HARRIS--- "Comedy Par Excellence"--Makes up straight; combination of songs and talk; very clever; 12 min. in one; went big. CROSSMAN'S ENTERTAINERS--- Instrumental and Vocal Production--two men and five women Play harp, piano, violin, cornet, flute, banjo and drum; render several selections of classical numbers with telling effect; 18 min. full stage; went over very big. A.S. Watson REPORT ON SHOW PLAYING THE SCENIC THEATRE PAWTUCKET R.I. Feb. 25, 1918. Otto Adlon Co. Burlesque juggling work in full stage 16 Min. Fairly good offering Went Well. James Dougherty Works in one 12 Min. Works straight Nonsense with a little singing. Don't see where his billing fits at all unless he is pulling something new. Went Fair. Wood Melville & Phillips Two men one woman one man works as Hebrew Songs comedy and some dancing by woman of act 20 Min. In one Went Good. Business is Business A Comedy Offering by Fisher Hawley Co. three men one woman. A Very good offering but spoiled by the act on before it as they do the Hebrew as well. Plenty Of Laughs but nothing at finish.
