REPORT OF COLONIAL, LAWRENCE, WEEK OF OCT. 31, 1910. John F. Adams, Critic. Derenzo and La Due - comedy gymnasts, some good bar work, went very well. 9 min. full stage. Marie Sparrow - "The Irish Song Bird" comedy singing and stories. Went good. 14 min. in one. Katherine Osterman and Co - comedy sketch "Their Weight in Gold" four people. This sketch has some very funny situations, which are worked up very good and draw a good many laughs. It dragged a little toward the finish but I believe after it gets in shape it will prove to be a very good comedy sketch. 24 min. full stage. James H. Cullen - "The Man from the West" songs and stories, very good line of stuff and gets his audience from the start. Went good. 18 min. in one. Six Gypsy Singers - 3 men, 3 women, with own drop representing a gypsey camp. Went good. 16 min. full stage. Ottot Bros - German comedians, went very good. 15 min. in one. Frank Mayne and Co - in "The Third Degree" an intensely dramatic sketch, four people, a very capable company. Mr. Maynes' portrayal of seven different characters very good. Big hit. 26 min full stage. Motion Pictures. O. K.
