B. F. KEITH'S HIPPODROME Week of August 25, 1913 Cleveland, Ohio THE PEERS - - Two men. Grotesque comedy bar act. 8 minutes, full stage. A lively opening act, with occasional applause. (Cincinnati) NEVINS & ERWOOD - - Man and woman, both blackface. Song, talk and dance. 14 minutes in one. Eccentric dancing of men very good. Mild applause. BERT WHEELER & CO - - Novelty juggling act in full stage. Man and woman. Man grotesque tramp, woman straight. Act full of mechanical surprised. Conventional juggling with an occasional novelty winning strong applause. Finishing well with explosion of trick automobile. 9 minutes. VIOLINSKY - - Man working straight in one with piano. Opens with violin solo winning first genuine applause. Goes into ragtime on piano, then plays piano and violin at the same time. Does this very well Two encores and lots of bows. All his numbers winning applause. 15 minutes. UNA CLAYTON & CO - - In a sketch entitled "A Little Child Shall Lead Them". Dark interior, library in 3. Miss Clayton goes, support only fair. Act plays 30 minutes and went nicely with audience. Comedy finish. FRED DUPREZ --- Monologist and singer. Men working in Prince Albert 22 minutes in one. Clean act, good appearance and delivery. Does burlesque one man melodrama for encore which goes big. Act good throughout. MARIE DReSSLER - - C.D.F. in 3. Advance hand. Straight recitation went big in addition to four comedy dongs. Closes in one after fourth song. Comedy speech for encore. RAFAYETTES DOGS - - Man doing acrobatic work with about 12 dogs. Fox terriers and poodles. an works straight. Full stage. 8 minutes of exceptionally good work by both man and dogs. Entire act novel with a welcome absence of properties. PATHE'S WEEKLY H. A. DANIELS
