Saving...
at the finish is a great novelity. It is a very quiet act but while I think people liked it, it got very little applause. 25 minutes, 2 shows. Elizabeth Murray. Commedienne and vocalist. coon singing and stories which were good. She didn't make the hit however, which she has usually made. 15 min. in one, 2 shows. Grapewin and Company. In "Above the Limit." First real laughs of the afternoon. 25 min. 2 shows, full stage. Julian Rose. Hebrew parodies and stories. This act is a sort of a cross between Joe Welch and Jess Dandy, but in no way approaches theirs in merit. From a two a day standpoint I can only call it a fair act. 2 shows, 14 min. in one. Stack and Milton. Very good bar act but they do nothing but what has been seen here before several times. Hardly as satisfactory an act, as some of the teams who introduce comedy in that line, and it being so very short is of little value. 7 min. full stage. Biograph O.K.
