332 TEMPLE THEATER, DETROIT, MICHIGAN. WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 14, 1903. BEAN & HAMILTON: 9 mins. F. S. Two neat appearing young men. Very good barrel jumping act. HARRY BROWN: 13 mins. in one. Colored singing and dancing comedian. He is up to the average colored entertainers of this class. MR. & MRS. STUART DARROW: 14 mins. F. S. Can do a finish in one if required. Present the same old act, "Finger Shadows, Sand and Smoke Pictures", which always please the audience. MARGARET WEBB. makes good appearance and has a sweet voice which she knows how to handle. went very good. 10 mins. in one. CLIFFORD & BURKE: 14 mins. in 3, 6 mins. in one. Black face comedian. Good act of the kind. EDWIN STEVENS: 15 mins. in 3, 11 mins. in one. IN a somewhat different style of monologue. Has some new stuff and has a good singing voice, which adds greatly to his act. Pleased our audience yesterday afternoon and evening. BASQUE QUARTETTE: 12 mins. in one. 3 men and one woman. High class operatic selections. Make good appearance and possess very good voices. ZISKA & KING: 17 mins. in 3. Bill themselves as "Masters of Mystery and Mirth". It is a copy in a way of Martinetti & Maximillian, but they are in no way to be compared with the latter act. Comedy end of the act very poor.
