FIFTH AVENUE THEATRE. WEEK AUG 21, 1911. Mlle Olive Pal 13 Min Some clever juggling assisted by man in clown make up and a small boy. Does some clever tricks and makes a good opener. Carroll & Cooke St 1 14 pecially in N. Y. Burnham & Greenwood Plush 1 12 min These two girls certainly cleaned up and proved the laughing hit of the show bringing it to a good comedy finish, for the next act hardly counted. The comedienne on the style of Florence Moore has her beaten for genuine humor. Covington & Wilbur F. S. EX 20 Min This double protean act was a big disappointment and failed to get by here to any extent. Only mediocrely acted and with a plot without particular interest, it is at best an amateurish effort to do something, which however fails of accomplishment. Without comedy, and with a tragic finish it is a bad act to close a show. This however seemed the only possible position and where it would do the least harm. Pathe Weekly. Some interesting events including Togo's visit to Mayor Gaynor. Note. The show is a fair one, and the two big hits make one overlook some of the other acts. Robert E Irwin Manager.
