Report on PROVIDENCE SHOW, Week of October 16, 1911. Chas. Lovenberg, Manager. The show played first rate in spite of a lot of excitement due to non-arrival of Hartley's baggage and trouble with some of Edwards' people, etc. The only act that didn't make good was Radie Furman, whom I intended, after her first performance, to put on to open the show and she prefers to close instead and I am permitting her to. Brought an act in from Pawtucket and today, Tuesday, THE ELLIOTS are to open. FRANK HARTLEY Very good juggler whose work compares favorably with some of the biggest men, but who lacks style, altho allowance must be made for a late arrival. 12 Min. F. S. CARL RANDALL Well-known singing and dancing act after the style of Laddie Cliff, who did first rate. 10 Min. in One. LINTON & LAWRENCE A sketch that has been described from other houses. The best thing they have ever done and a corking good vaudeville skit. I prefer the act to Montgomery & Moore, whose act this somewhat resembles. 17 Min. F. S. BARRY & WOLFORD Who are giving their well-known comedy singing act, meeting with their usual success. 16 Min. in One. THE 6 ABDALLAHS Crack-a-jack fast acrobatic act that made the biggest kind of a hit. 8 Min. F. S. GUS EDWARDS' SONG REVUE Meeting with the same success that has been credited to them in other theatres. 40 Min. open in One. Close F. S. MOTION PICTURES O. K. RADIE FURMAN Didn't do as well as in other places and as remarked above, will not appear after Monday matinee.
