52 REPORT Scenic Theatre Pawtucket R. I. [Rhode Island] Week of Oct [October] 21st 1912 David R. Buffinton CHESTER KINGSTON Contortionists, out of the ordinary, made up as Chinamen, quick worker and clever, 8 minutes in two, went big. HILDA GLYDER Singing, nicely dressed, 4 songs, rag, 8 minutes in one went very well. MARION MUNSEN Supported by Hal Forrest who makes an announcement telling about Munsons quick changes, which are clever and quick, and makes them talk, name of sketch is The Kidnapping of Bianca, Miss Munson plays 6 parts, 12 minutes interior, went very well MAYME REMINGTON and her Pickaninnes Maybe Remington 2 colored boys and two colored girls, Singing and dancing, very nicely dressed all make several changes, singing good little comedy introduced whic[h] went well 20 minutes in one, Big hit. WILL J. WARD and the 5 Melody Maids Will Ward and 5 women, all very nicely dressed, 5 Pianos on stage and all playing together at opening of act. Singing by Will Ward and Peaches went big. VAN HOVEN Billes as the Dippy Magician, keeps up a continual line of fast talking, what he does dont [don't] amount to much but the way he puts it over had them screaming, 14 minutes in one. ROMALO AND DELANO Two men, equilibrists, novelty, special scenery representing interior of gymnasium, hand balancing out of ordinary, clever, 10 minutes full stage, Went Big.
