173 GRAND OPERA HOUSE, PITTSBURGH, PA. JOHN P. HARRIS DECEMBER 16TH, 1912. NETTIE CARROLL TRIO. Palace. Special. 10 minutes. Wire walking. A very good act, especially for opening the show. MILLER & MACK. Olio. 12 minutes. The Dancing Duo. A very good dancing act for No. 2. HILDA THOMAS and LOU HALE. Interior. 18 minutes. Singing. An eccentric sketch. I was agreeably surprised at this act. Hilda Thomas and Lou Hale both know how to put their set over. They went big at every performance. ADELAIDE NORWOOD. Olio in one. 12 minutes. This act is too well known to need any extended criticism. She did very well for us. LOU HAWKINS. Street in One. 17 minutes. Blackface monologist in Songs and Stories. Mr. Hawkins always does well for us and his engagement this week is no exception. MUSICAL BERRENS. Palace. 12 minutes. A big hit, especially the surprise at the finish. WINDSOR MCKAY. Olio in One. 12 minutes. Cartoonist. The best of them all. His moving pictures of his sketches are a big hit. THE JONLEYS. Full stage. Palace. 11 minutes. Equilibrists. One of the best acts of the kind we have ever played. KINEMACOLOR. "The Piegan Indians" and "Haunts of the Otter."
