A great act. LOUISVILLE. MARY ELIZABETH: Songs and stories. 13 min. in one. One of the cleverest, most refined and effective single woman turns seen here in a long time. Songs and stories both good and well delivered, and act went big. LOUISVILLE. McCONNELL & SIMPSON: Comedy sketch. 27 min. F. S. A scream from beginning to end, and a terrific hit. INDIANAPOLIS. THE BERRENS: Musical novelty. 13 min. F. S. Man at the piano, and another man, female impersonator, at the violin. A surprise finish. Made a tremendous hit. Act went big. CHICAGO. MARSHALL P. WILDER: 31 min. in one. This includes a moving picture story in which Wilder is the principal figure. Wilder follows with a collection of stories. The entire act made a big hit. OPEN NEXT WEEK. LULU GLASER & CO.: Sketch. 20 min. F. S. Advance hand for Miss Glaser at both Sunday performances. Act went big, with numerous curtain calls. NEW YORK. PHINA & PICKS: One woman with Three Picks. 13 min. in one. Singing and dancing. A big scream throughout. MILWAUKEE. BARLEY'S BULL DOGS: Four live bull dogs, and a dozen or more dummies. 7 min. F.S. Very funny, and a continuous laugh throughout. CHICAGO. PATHE'S WEEKLY: 14 min. REMARKS: One of the biggest and best shows of the season from beginning to end. C. L. Doran.
