REPORT OF HIPPODROME SHOW WEEK JAN. 28, 1912.
DE VOIE TRIO, Athletes Featuring the Famous De Voie Tricks. Three clean cut clever men on the swinging rings. Act has been here before and is well known on the circuit. The audience thought it was the best opening act we had this season. A always agree with the audience. Special plush--full stage--10 min. (Dayton)
JOSEPHINE DAVIS, In a Variety of Songs. They seemed to think a great deal of this young lady. She is full of fire and ginger and has the gift of an excelent voice. The best act in this spot in many weeks. E M deserves great credit for the selection. Drop in one  14 min. (Syracuse)
CLAUDE AND FANNY USHER, playing "Fagan's Decision". Of course every one in the audience loves Spareribs. The act has always gone well in Cleveland, and the people here consider it a bit of slang classic. Jean Bodini went out scouting and stole the hungriest looking dog I have ever seen-also the dirtiest. He has fed the dog a ton of meat and has a rope round his neck, has named him Spareribs, and rehearsed him all morning so he would get acquainted with the footlights. The Ushers did 30 min. C D F in 3. Received five curtain calls.
BUD AND NELLIE HEIM, America's Foremost Juveniles. First time in Cleveland for these bright kids. The boy does most of the work. The audience was greatly pleased with the act and I stopped counting curtain calls after eight. Drop in one--17 min. (Toledo)
JEAN BEDINI AND ARTHUR ROY, assisted by Eddie Cantar. The act is well known on the circuit and needs no comment. Clevelanders welcome them once a year. Open wood in 3-close in one-22 min. (Pittsburgh)
MARGUERITE HANEY, in The Leading Lady. This is a Rolfe act. Seven girls and two men. No curtain calls. Little applause. Dancing awhole. No contract here as yet for the pigeon hole. Spec. set in 4--27 min. (Columbus)
ADELAIDE NORWOOD, The American Prima Donna. Always a big favorite here, because of her Opera engagements. Max led the orchestra. Advance applause. 12 min. in one  Very strong. (Pittsburg)
ELLA BRADNA AND FRED DERRICK, Bareback Riders. Well known circus act. Here with our circus. Audience waited for them. Exellent act of its kind. 12 min. full stage. (Pittsburgh)
