B. F. KEITH'S THEATRE. BOSTON SHOW - WEEK FEB. 5, 1912. (Monday Night Show.) (R. G. Larsen.) LOUISE STICKNEY'S CIRCUS. 11 minutes f.s. An A-1 opening act, with clever pony and dog, good clown, and fast work. JACK REIDY and ELSIE CURRIER. 13 minutes in one. Special drop. One of the best singing acts we play, with harp. Went well at both shows, and could easily have gone further down on the bill. GEORGE PELIX and BARRY GIRLS. 20 minutes f.s. short close in one. A good, fast act with lots of comedy. Went as well, if not better than ever before in this house. BUD FISHER. 17 minutes in one. special drop; This is about the best of the cartoon acts. Aside from Fisher's wide reputation, he has a unique setting, has an interesting line of stuff, and holds the audience every minute. FIRST MOVING PICTURE OF CARDINAL O'CONNELL. 9 minutes. This has great local interest, and proved quite a feature of the show here to-day. LULU McCONNELL and GRANT SIMPSON. 25 minutes f.s. Playing the new sketch, "The Right Girl," and went as well here as it did in New York. BELLE BLANCHE. 13 minutes in one. Without question the best of the imitators, and went big at both shows. THOMAS A. WISE and CO. in "A Chip of the Old Block." 24 minutes f.s. Mr Wise has a sketch that is all right for vaudeville. What is more to the point, it is well-cast, well-acted, has lots of laughs, and holds the interest every minute. It is the Lambs' Club sketch, the scene of which is laid in the Actors' Fund Home. Mr Wise has the part of a comedian who never realized his ambition to play tragedy. He has hopes for his son in tragic roles, only to discover that the latter is "fat and funny" like himself, and what is worse, a modern Quaker Oats comedian. The old man finally finds a ray of hope in his grandson, who does not promise to be as fat as his father, and may possibly grow up thin enough to play tragic roles. BROWN and AYER. 20 minutes in one. After they have been cleaned up, and blue stuff eliminated, this team are about as clever as anything we have in this line. Went big to-night. THREE ERNESTS. 7 minutes f.s. Always the best of the comedy bar acts, this troupe came back with a novelty in the way of a new stage setting, and went bigger than ever. CUTS. Belle Blanche - "Wives, wives, wives" song. Brown and Ayer - "You ought to see the one I got now" song and "If you talk in your sleep don't mention my name."
