SUMMER VAUDEVILLE H.F. KEITH'S THEATRE. CINCINNATI, O. Week of May 17th, 1914. J.F. Royal, Manager. 1 - COMEDY REEL: 8 minutes. 2 - GEORGE & LILY GARDEN: 10 min. in one. Man and woman in xylophone act. This is a good, lively musical act. - Made a splendid opening for this first of our summer shows. Went very strong. 3 - HAYES & PULTON: 15 min. in one. Boy and girl in singing and dancing number. For this type of act they went over in good shape. Have a lively group of songs that proved very pleasing. 4 - MR. & MRS. STILLMAN: 17 min. F.S.; library. Man and woman in one old sketch which they did not play very well. This is the weakest spot of the whole show; got a few laughs, but did not hold up this spot as they should. 5 - "CINCINNATI IN MOTION" PICTURES: 12 min. Good subjects, many of which contain a number of faces, which will bring us business, as it did last summer. 6 - O'BRIEN & BROOKS: 15 min. in one. Two boys in an Italian character sketch, with a lot of slow talk, closing with a piano and one-string violin. Their talking material is very dully, but their finish with the musical number got them over big. 7 - "THE GIRL IN THE MOON": 10 min. F.S. This is a big feature for such a show, and made a big hit. The girl coming out into the audience is something new for this type of show, and the act went very big. The girl who sings has a sweet pleasing voice, and the act should cause some talk. 8 - BERT & BESS DRAPER: 17 min. in one. Man works in black face, and the girl has a rich barytone voice that proved pleasing. Closed strong. 9 - FOUR KONERZ BROS: 6 min. F. S. Four men in a hoop rolling and diablo exhibition. This is a lively act of its kind and made a good closing feature. Well liked. 10 - COMEDY REEL: 6 minutes. CUTS: O'Brien & Brooks' story about the roaches.
