REPORT ON BOSTON SHOW - WEEK MAY 25th - 1914. (ROBERT G LARSEN) JACK and [FDRIS?] 8 minutes f.s. Garden. A very good hand-tohand balancing turn that made an excellent opener. RAY-MONDE 5 minutes in one. OP P. Drapery. This man claims to be suffering from a sore throat. Whatever may box trouble with him he did not get over in anything like the fashion he is reported to have gone in other cities. [CARTWELL?] and HARRIS 16 minutes f.s. Palace. Doing the same act they have given us before, with the exception of some "society" dancing at the finish. Scored heavily. DOROTHY BRENNER 16 minutes in one. Singing comedianne. Makes four changes of costume and puts her songs over in great shape. Scored one of the hits of the show. SIX BROWN BROTHERS 15 minutes f.s. Music Room. Scored a big hit. NEWBOLD and GRIBBEN 19 minutes in one. Garden. This team have introduced some new numbers, and are going as well as on their previous visits. BERNARD rREINOLD and CO. "HOW HOFFMEISTER DID IT." 26 minutes f.s. Special set. A rather pleasing German comedy with some amusing lines and situations, but by no means in the same class with Mr. Reinold's former vehicle, "Dinkelspiel's Christmas." Went very well FANNY BRICE 19 minutes in one. Olio drop. Miss Brice scored one of the biggest hits made by a single woman in this house. Had the audience in screams of laughter with her antics, and at the close was obliged to make a little speech. GREAT ERGOTTI LILLIPUTIANS 8 minutes f.s. Palace. Made a splendid closing feature. "BOSTON IN MOTION" Series of motion pictures views of local news events.
