BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY AUGUST 10, 1914. LIBBEY & BARTON: Comedy bicycle act, 13 minutes (F.S.) 2 men. Pleasing act, comedian gets a little laughter, and the straight shows some very good work which went well. THE STROLLING PLAYERS: Violin and singing, 14 minutes (1) 2 men. Fairly good act; The singer has got a bad cold which mars his work some but the other is great with the violin making a good hit with his different selections. J. C. LEWIS, Jr. & Co., Comedy playlet, 23 minutes C. D. F. 5 people. Good act, the little fellow making a bit hit with his really clever comedy; The remaining members are all good aiding much to the success of the playlet which went good. [W. E. Parmenter?] Manager. TAYLOR SISTERS: Piano and singing, 10 minutes (1) Good act with voices rich in quality making the various vocal renditions exceptionally good, and eliciting good applause from a highly appreciable audience. JACK GEORGE: Black face comedian, 11 minutes (1) Good act, his comedy getting many laughs, and his ludicrous make-up is very funny. Good applause. LEO ZARRELL TRIO: ACROBATS, 6 minutes, F. S. 3 men. Good acrobatic act, disclosing many difficult tricks performed in a masterly way. Audience greatly interested, and liked them immensely. [W. E. Parmenter?] Manager.
