INFORMATION on acts playing week of Sept. 14th, 1914. Forsyth, Atlanta. CHARLES D. WEBER Comedian in tramp makeup with a routine of juggling. Uses a great many props and keeps trap drummer busy all through act. Also uses plant in box for one trick. Garden in two, 12 minutes. EMILE SUBERS & MATT KEEFE Black face comedian and straight character. Subers does KENNEDY & ROONEY Supposed to be the study of a palmist. The entire value of the act rests in the eccentric trick piano playing of Kennedy and the dancing of Miss Rooney. Interior, parlor setting. 22 min. JAMES ALF HOLT Holt does a series of imitations of everything that makes a noise. Olio in one, property effects on small table center. 14 minutes NANA Nana is assisted by M. Alexis in a series of dances that are really interesting. There is only a suggestion of the modern craze most of the dancing being of the acrobatic sort. 8 min. LEW DOCKSTADER Dockstader appears in his well known character impersonations of Teddy. The makeup is nearly perfect and the comedian has mastered the peculiar style of speech for which is study is famous. The act deals with the supposed policies of the famous character. Street in one, 18 min. SPISSELL BROS. & MACK Three men and a woman, one comedy, all others straight. this is the same act these people have been doing for years, the only change is the style of presentation. 11 minutes, special in three, the interior of a kitchen. Keith's Philadelphia VALVENO & La MORE Two men in a conventional acrobatic turn, one straight, one comedy makeup. 7 min, F. S. PARILLO & FARABITO Two men in a character of Italian street singers, one playing the accordion. 12 min, in One. JULIA CURTIS called "The Girl of Many Voices" Here is a girl with a brand new idea for introducing imitations of stage celebrities. She uses several well known stars as subjects but injects an entirely new comedy vein by imitating them as birds and animals making it funny. She also sings in four distinct voices. 12 min in One.
