BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY SEPTEMBER 28, 1914. GENE & ARTHUR: Fairly good act, 12 minutes (1) Lady and Man. Display rather good singing ability with a little comedy nicely handled. WALTER WALTERS: Ventriloquist, 14 minutes (1) Best ventriloquist here this season. Good comedy and excellent powers as a ventriloquist make up a very good act. THE PASSENGER WRECK: Serio-comic-novelty. 19 minutes full stage special set. 1 Lady. 4 Men. Well written and well acted sketch. Scenery adequate and very realistic. Members of the company all clever and make the most of the opportunities assigned them. [W. E. Parmenter?] Manager. BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW THURSDAY OCTOBER 1, 1914. CHARLOTTE LESLAY: 10 minutes (1) Good act displaying an excellent voice, and offering a good choice of songs. Went well at all performances. HAMILTON & BARNES: 17 minutes (1) Lady and Man. Good act. The comedy is excellent and gets plenty of laughs. Made big hit with the house. MENDEL & NAGLE: 10 minutes (1) 2 Men. Good act, with clever selections on the violin and accordion which earned well deserved applause. [W. E. Parmenter?] Manager.
