REPORT on BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of OCTOBER 12th 1914 (R. G. Larsen.) PATHE WEEKLY 15 minutes in one. Picture Sheet. EMMA STEPHENS 10 minutes in one. Olio Drop. A clever young woman with a good voice and personality, singing four songs. Unfortunately three of them have been sung to death in this house. ROSE CROUCH and GEORGE WELCH 12 minutes f.s. C.D.F. This lively act always makes good here. To-day was no exception. WEBB and BURNS 15 minutes in one. Street. Italian singers and musicians. Have considerable rough comedy and scored a big hit. Could go further down on the bill. CHARLES MACK and CO in "Come Back To Erin." 18 minutes f.s. Special Set. Went as well as on previous visits. CLAIRE ROCHESTER 14 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Started a bit quiet, but rolled up a solid applause hit with her quartette from "Rigoletto." LA PETITE ADELAIDE and J. J. HUGHES 20 minutes f.s. Palace. Are doing society dances and close with their Pierrot and Pierrette Dance. A very pretty number. Scored a big hit. MAUD MULLER and ED STANLEY 19 minutes in one. This team were one of the big laughing hits of the show. Opened Monday night in street clothes, to replace Moore & Yates, who disappointed. Had them laughing all the way through, and closed strong. B. A. ROLFE'S "THE BRIDE SHOP" with Andy Tombes. 46 minutes f.s. Special Set. One of the very best musical comedies we have ever played. Is exceptionally strong in comedy, while the costumes are beautiful. A great closing feature for one of the strongest shows of the season.
