BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY NOVEMBER 2, 1914. NETTIE GORDAN: Rifle expert, 11 minutes full stage. Good act, displaying considerable ability in the execution of some rather clever and difficult feats of marksmanship. Went well. LEONARD & HALEY: Character singing, 13 minutes (1) Special drop. Fairly good singing act, in which the bulk of the work is done by the lady who is easily the big end of the team. Act was well received as to applause. FARRELL-TAYLOR TRIO: 22 minutes C.D.F. 3 men. Proved to be riot of laughter and the far-fetched comedy evidently pleased, for they were the recipients of unmistakable demonstrations of approval in the way of vigorous applause. [W. E. Parmenter?] Manager. BIJOUR THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY NOVEMBER 9, 1914. DEAN & PEY: Singing, Talking & Comedy. 16 minutes C.D.F. Lady and Man. Good act, full of bright and clever comedy, with many really funny situations which kept the audience convulsed with laughter from curtain to curtain. FRAZEE: Shadowgrapher, 12 Minutes (1) As good as the usual run of such acts, doing practically all the well-known work in this line. FRIDOSOWSKY TROUPE: Russian singers and whirlwind dancers, 11 minutes full stage. 9 people. Opening song is very well done and goes well enough, to warrant more vocal work. Dancing is all done by two or three men, while the remainder of the troupe are merely on-lookers. Act is Beautifully costumed and makes a big "sight," but there really ought to be more singing, inasmuch as their opening song is really the best portion of the entire act. [W. E. Parmenter?] Manager.
