REPORT on BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of NOVEMBER 9th - 1914. (R. G. Larsen.) PATHE WEEKLY 15 minutes in one. NEHER and KAPPEL 10 minutes f.s. Special cyclorama. A fair roller skating act, - and only fair. THE MISSES CAMPBELL 12 minutes in one. Special Drop. One of the best sister acts we have played in a long time. Have a very effective drop and sing Southern songs, with piano and banjo accompaniment. Scored one of the biggest applause hits of the show. Could go further down. SUTTON, McINTYRE and SUTTON 12 minutes in 3. Special Set. Two men and a girl in a lively rough-and-tumble Rube acrobatic act, with a little dancing. Went over in great shape in this spot. WILLIE WESTON 17 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Has a routine of Yiddisher, Italian and German songs that went first-rate. EMMET DE VOY and CO in "His Wife's Mother." 21 minutes f.s. Tapestry. A very good comedy sketch written around the quarrels of a newly-married couple, and the reconciliation brought about by their mother-in-law. Well played, and got a lot of laughs. JOE COOK 16 minutes in one. Special Drop. Cook has added quite a lot of new stuff since he was here last winter. Act is better than ever, and scored a big laughing hit. BERT LEVY 18 minutes f.s. Special Sheet. Has one new drawing. Still, he scored his usual hit. EVA TANGUAY 20 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Sang six songs, "Sticks and Stones" - "Method In My Madness" - "There Goes Crazy Eva" - "Father Never Raised Any Foolish Children" - "Let Us Have Peace" and "I Don't Care." Miss Tanguay was afraid she had lost her grip in vaudeville. She certainly did not go over as of old. This may have been due to the fact that her songs had a sameness that became monotonous. She realizes this and will try to get something to break the monotony. The Monday business was good, but not the sell-out of the old Tanguay days. MOARY SISTERS 12 minutes f.s. Garden. Three girls and one man in a rather showy act on the Roman rings. Girls look nice, and the act made a good closer.
