SCENIC TEMPLE Vaudeville and Motion Pictures EXEC. OFFICE: UNION THEATRE UNION STREET PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND MAIN STREET PHONE PAWTUCKET 356 Pawtucket, R. I., November 16, 1914. Derenzo and Ladue. Two men, Chinaman and clown. Full stage, 10 minutes. Comedy revolving pole act. Went fairly good. Dorothy Meuther. Single woman, in one, 12 minutes. Very good line of songs, Italian character, etc. Far above the average single. Went good. W. E. Whittle. Single man. Special set in 2 1/2. Policeman character, Two dummies, and a very good line of ventriloquial stunts. Good at throwing his voice, into cellar, etc. Went good. The Candy Shop Girls. Five girls and two men. Full stage, special set, also special drop in one on opening. A miniature musical comedy, in which the soda clerk and the cashier furnish most of the "fun". Very poor act Went poor. Single man. Full stage, 12 minutes. The old time juggler. Trick and comedy work. As good as ever. Holmes and Wells. Man and woman. In one. 15 minutes. Singing, and a good line of comedy. evening clothes. Went good. Minerva Courtney and Co. Two men and a woman. Special set in full stage. Characters in comedy sketch are Chinaman, cowboy, young boy, second cowboy, and girl. Introduces singing, dancing and comedy. A very good sketch. Goes Good. The Fashion Shop. Five women and two men. Special set in full stage Comedy, singing, and novelty of draping living models with the latest Paris fashions. An excellent act and went very good. The scene is laid in a fashion shop.
