REPORT from BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of NOVEMBER 16th - 1914.

PATHE WEEKLY  15 minutes in one. Customary news events in motion. Not quite so interesting this week as usual.
THE MAGLEYS  8 minutes f.s. Palace. A fast dancing act of the Texas Tommy type that made a great opener. Could close any show.
COAKLEY, HANVEY and DUNLEVY  20 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Three men working in blackface, making their entrance through the audience, and giving a miniature minstrel show. Good singing, some gagging, and lively dancing. A very good act that could go further down on a bill.
HANLON BROTHERS  17 minutes f.s. Special Set. Going as well as on previous visits.
NAN HALPERIN  20 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. A very clever little girl, who works on the eccentric character comedienne order. Got many laughs and rolled up a solid applause hit.
SIGNOR BAGONGHI  9 minutes f.s. Circus cyclorama. This is the dwarf rider from the Barnum & Bailey Show, making his first appearance in vaudeville. Carries two men and a woman, and two horses. One of the funniest equestrian acts we have ever played. Scored a big laughing hit.
BYAL and EARLY  13 minutes in one. Olio Drop. Man and a girl with very long and thin arms, which she can twist into all manner of odd postures. A good lively singing and dancing act with considerable  comedy, that went first-rate.
FRANKLYN ARDELL and CO  13 minutes f.s. C.D.F. "The Suffragette" still remains one of the best laughing sketches in vaudeville. The audience at both performances to-day fairly screamed their heads off.
HARRY MAYO and HARRY TALLY  16 minutes in one. Street. One of the best two-man singing acts we have played. Has quite a little comedy. Went very big.
HARRY HOUDINI  32 minutes f.s. Palace. Doing the same act he did at the Palace, and held the audience. Is arranging several challenges for the week, but will be better able to judge him as a business proposition later.
