Report of Providence show week of November 30, 1914. Chas. Lovenberg, Mgr. We have this week a most excellent bill. Anyone who is not satisfied with this show seems to me would be impossible to please. Lots of novelty, comedy, and various acts of plenty of merit. JOHNSON & WELLS Well known colored couple who have a rather lively though old fashioned offering, which served it's purpose in opening the show. 11 minutes in one. AERIAL BUDS A young fellow and girl of an attractive appearance who do an act similar to the "Flying Martins", but who work faster, if anything, than the latter. I should say that they work a little too fast to get the best results. 7 minutes F. S. ROSIE LLOYD As this is Miss Lloyd's first performance on this side for her present tour, it might be as well not to criticise her performance from to-day's work. It will take her some time to get her songs adjusted and probably by the end of the week she will be acceptable all along the line. 17 minutes in one. FLANAGAN & EDWARDS In their latest skit, "Off and On", which made a most decided hit. 17 minutes open F. S. close in one. CHRETIENNE & LOUISETTE The two Hollanders. An act that is very well known and it is only necessary to say that they fared very well indeed. 22 minutes open with picture sheet for about five minutes and close in F. S. CHAS. & FANNY VAN The well known comedy act of the stage carpenter, which went with screams. 19 minutes in one. THE OKABE TROUPE The greatest act of the kind we ever had in the house. Wonderfully improved since their appearance here several years ago. 10 minutes F. S. During these ten minutes they do twenty minutes' work. ROBINS Imitators of musical instruments. I was somewhat apprehensive as to Mr. Robins holding this spot and, although he was not a riot, he held this position in fairly good shape. His imitations are good but they are by no means the most important part of his act. His little side bits of comedy are really the principal feature. He serves this bill best in this spot but two or three turns further up, he would probably be a big hit. 9 minutes in one. CLARK & HAMILTON First time here for these well known entertainers, who not only held the closing spot satisfactorily, but were a tremendous hit. 28 minutes F. S. MOTION PICTURES O. K.
