BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY DECEMBER 28, 1914. CHARLES DEIGHAN: Equilibrist, 8 Minutes (2) Good act of its kind but fails to impress to any great extent, the audience receiving it in quite an indifferent manner. GILSON & DEMOTT: Comedy talking and singing skit, 20 minutes (1) Lady and Man. New and original material, nicely handled makes a good act, and leaves a decidedly favorable impression. THE COUNT AND THE MAID: 25 minutes, full stage, special set, 8 Girls 3 Men. Good act containing catchy and tuneful songs, a bevy of fascinating and captivating girls, a comedian who is riot of laughter, and a clever little plot delightfully told, all surrounded by a beautiful stage picture in the way of pretty scenic effects, and some stunning and striking costumes. [W. E. Parmenter?] Manager. BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW THURSDAY DECEMBER 31, 1914. SULLIVAN, PASQUELENA & CO: Comedy skit, 18 minutes, open in one, close full stage, own drops. 1 Lady 2 MEN. Only a fair act; They have been doing this for so many years past with practically no change, that it fails to impress the average vaudevillian. ROMAINE: Eccentric violinist, 9 minutes (1) Good act, and makes a most favorable impression. Went well at all shows, and deservedly so, for his work is of a highly meritorious order. NAYNONS BIRDS: 15 minutes full stage special drop, 2 Men. Very pretty act to witness, and two or three of the birds display great aptitude in their various stunts; But the act played the opposition house here scarcely two years ago, and this fact weakens it with our clientele, and especially as a feature for a holiday bill. [W. E. Parmenter?] Manager.
