BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY JANUARY 4, 1915 [should be 1915] TATE & TATE: Acrobats, 9 minutes, full stage, special drop. Lady and Man. Quite an ordinary act, displaying little or nothing that has not been done before. SKEDDEN & PIKE: Singing and piano, 17 minutes (1) Lady & Man. Singing of the man quite pleasing, being the possessor of a good voice. Lady helps with the piano. THE SALAMBOS: Electrical novelty, 17 minutes full stage, Lady and MAN Big flash, lots of color and light. Work has been seen so often that it rather fails to impress as a feature act. [W. E. Parmenter?] Manager. BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW THURSDAY JANUARY 7, 1915. MACK & WILLIAMS: DANCING act, 11 minutes, open one, close full stage. Lady and man. Opens rather tame and uninteresting; Their staircase dance at the finish is a bit of novelty, and just barely gets the act over. RAY FERN: Nut Comedian, 16 minutes (1) Most of his stuff is very ancient, and the audience at all times knew just what was coming, and the act fails to impress to any great extent. AL RAYMO & COMPANY: "IMAGINATION". 20 minutes C.D.F. 1 Lady 3 Men. Practically nothing to recommend it. Weak acting, no plot, not even the semblance of anything of the slightest interest. Their efforts were absolutely futile as entertainers and the act falls decidedly flat, in fact it is the worst thing ever seen here, and I was burdened with the most adverse and caustic comments from numerous of our patrons.
