REPORT on BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of FEBRUARY 22nd '15. PATHE WEEKLY 15 minutes in one. Picture Sheet. This week they have added an animated cartoon by J. C. Bray, at the end of the reel, something after the fashion of the "Heeza Liar" pictures. Made a strong laughing finish to the customary series of newspictures. BILL PRUITT 10 minutes in one. Olio Drop. this cowboy Caruso has a really remarkable double voice. His notes in the upper register are clear and true. Went over very well. WILLIAM BURR and DAPHNE HOPE 13 minutes f.s. Special cyclorama. "Ad Lady, A Lover and A Lamp." Doing about the same line of stuff as on their previous engagement. Went over well in this position. RELLOW 8 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. A fRenchman who makes music by clapping his hands together, and slapping his face and mouth. Very good novelty. Went over big with the holiday crowd. NAZIMOVA in "WAR BRIDES" 34 minutes f.s. Special Set. Second and last week of her engagement. Holding the interest. Went over nearly as big with the holiday audiences as she did last week with the regular patrons. PEALSON and GOLDIE 15 minutes in one. Street. Doing much the same line of talk, with some new parodies. Went well. RALPH RIGGS and KATHERINE WITCHIE 17 minutes f.s. Palace. Short opening in one. Olio Drop. A very lively dancing act with a little singing. The feature of the turn is the hornpipe danced by Mr. Riggs. Went first-rate. HENRY LEWIS 22 minutes in one. Special Drapery. It was pretty soft for Mr. Lewis in this position. He was about the first act that gave the audience a chance to laugh. Everything he did met with favor, and he closed very strong. The applause hit of the show. GREAT LEON and His WONDER WORKERS 19 minutes f.s. Special Set. Held the audience in their seats to the finish, and sent them out talking about his "Fire and Water" illusion. An excellent closer. COMMENT: A very fast show, with lots of singing and dancing, but the comedy element is a bit short.
