REPORT on BOSTON SHOW FOR WEEK of MARCH 15th - 1915. (R. G. Larsen.) PATHE WEEKLY 13 minutes in one. Picture Sheet. Up-to-date and interesting this week. SIX MILITARY DANCERS 11 minutes f.s. Two Special Scenes. A rather showy group act with lots of live to open a show. JULIA CURTISS 10 minutes O.P. Drapery. Doing about the same line of imitations, and going very strong. MORRIS CRONIN and HIS MERRY MEN 13 minutes f.s. Special Set. A good, lively comedy juggling act that repeated well. IRVING NEWHOFF and DODE PHELPS 14 minutes in one. Special Set. We moved this act down from #2 spot in the afternoon, hoping the talk would get over better. Even then it was rather tame, but they finished strong with the singing numbers. RALPH DUNBAR'S SALON SINGERS 19 minutes in three. Special Draperies. A mixed quartette in a showy production that went over good, but on this bill I would rather had less class and more comedy in this spot. MR and MRS JACK McGREEVEY 19 minutes in one. Special Drop. Doing their old act and getting away with it. MRS. LESLIE CARTER in "ZAZA" 34 minutes f.s. Special Set. While Mrs. Carter went over strong, and got innumerable curtain calls, the present indications are that she will be a bit of a disappointment as far as returns are concerned. MULLEN and COOGAN 20 minutes in one. Olio and Street Drops. In a very hard spot, these two men cleaned up for fair. GORDON and RICA 6 minutes f.s. These people have entirely changed their act since they played here last, and instead of being a bicycle act, they have made it a singing and talking act with a finish on the bicycle. Monday afternoon they did their regular routine, opened in one for about 6 minutes, then going into full stage. For the night show we had them cut out everything except the opening number and the bicycle tricks, which brought the act down to six minutes. In its present form it never should have been booked to close a show, but on some bills might go all right #2, opening in one, and closing full stage. Monday afternoon, they did 15 minutes.
