BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW MONDAY APRIL 5, 1915. BAKER & MURRAY: Singing, talking, dancing and piano, 13 minutes (1) Lady and Man. Some dancing not extraordinary, in conjunction with two or three songs one of which is very ancient, makes only a passably fair act. EDWIN GEORGE: Comedian and Almost Juggler, 13 minutes (1) As a juggler he causes no great enthusiasm, but with his line of comedy talk he keeps everyone well entertained and produces a number of laughs. FLANAGAN & EDWARDS: 17 minutes, open full stage, close one. Good act getting plenty of laughs with some really good comedy, their material being new and original, and their finish is replete with features highly entertaining, but the act as a whole is not of the calibre to constitute a feature. [W, E, Parmenter?] Manager. BIJOU THEATRE, WOONSOCKET, R. I. REPORT OF SHOW THURSDAY APRIL 8, 1915. ST. CLAIR & GRIFFITHS: Singing, talking and dancing, 17 min. (1) Lady and Man. Very ordinary, the singing is weak, there is little commendable in their dancing, and the attempts at comedy produce only the very slightest laughter. BILL PRUITT: "Cowboy Caruso", 10 minutes (1) An excellent repertoire of songs rendered in a very pleasing voice, makes an entertaining offering, but the act falls somewhat short of the usual degree of approbation usually accorded the real big events in the musical line seen here recently. SWAIN, OSTMAN TRIO: Acrobats, 6 minutes full stage. 3 Men. Fair act, disclosing nothing of a startling nature, and exhibiting practically the same routine of all kindred acts. Comedy produces a few laughs. [W, E, Parmenter?] Manager.
