REPORT on BOSTON SHOW for WEEK of APRIL 19th - 1915. (R. G. Larsen.) SKATERS BIJOUVE 8 minutes f.s. Special Set. A flashy act and went big with the holiday audience. KRAMER and MORTON 12 minutes in one. Street Drop. Blackface singing, dancing and talking act. Got the audience and went strong. SAM CHIP and MARY MARBLE in 'THE LAND OF DYKES" 26 minutes f.s. Special Set. When we played this act before it was new. To-day it went one hundred per cent better and got over in great shape. MANUEL QUIROGA 16 minutes in one. Olio Drop. This man is a wonderful violinist and went surprisingly well with the holiday audience. With the regular audiences he should be a hit. BILLIE BURKE'S "TANGO SHOES" 21 minutes. Open in one. Olio Drop. Close Palace in f.s. This is a typical Billie Burke act with a strong element of novelty, and it was nothing short of a riot this afternoon. BEATRICE HERFORD 19 minutes in one. Plush draperies. Miss Herford is undoubtedly one of the greatest artistes we have ever had. She did "The Department Store;" "At The Box Office;" and "The Ten-Cent Store" this afternoon, and had the audience with her every second. HARRY FERN and COMPANY in "VETERANS" 20 minutes f.s. Special Set. Another stage full of props with a lot of comedy that went over strong. COURTNEY SISTERS 15 minutes in one. O.P. Drapery. Opened big and had the holiday audience laughing every minute. MADAME ADELAIDE HERMANN 20 minutes f.s. Special Set. This is one of the best acts Madame Hermann has ever given us. It looks well, she works fast, and is a great closer. COMMENT: This is one great show. It started off well, kept moving right along to the finish. If an all-around show will do business, this should do it.
